Connecting the Seven Lochs Wetland Park
In 2013, the GIA held a design competition in collaboration with Glasgow and Clyde Valley Green Network Partnership and CSGN for a bridge which connects the Seven Lochs Wetland Park across an existing motorway.
The brief called for the creation of ‘green link’ to provide connection between Drumpellier Country Park and Commonhead Moss within the park, both of which are currently separated by the M73.
The competition was won by Euan Maharg.
