The Watt Institution

The Grade ‘A’ Listed Watt Institution in Greenock is an important building historically, civically, socially and culturally and housing local archives, bequeathed artefacts and world class artwork. Over a period of time the fabric of the building had been deteriorating to the point where both the building and its contents were being irreparably damaged. The client, with a limited budget, required to undertake full external fabric repairs to preserve the building and its contents for the future. Internally accessibility has been improved, key spaces remodelled, redundant rooms reintroduced for use by the public and full redecoration of all public and staff spaces.
