New building for Halfmerke Primary School, East Kilbride. The design responds to the Curriculum of Excellence to provide dynamic learning opportunities through out the learner stages both internally and externally. Open plan areas are brought together at the heart of the school, benefiting from natural light and ventilation. This creates a sense of generous space, allowing views through the building and encourages communication between spaces.
